As soon as Dakota submitted his audition for Kai
Monteago, everyone on our team knew he was the perfect fit. He
nailed the audition 100% and then some, and ever since he joined
the team, he's been nothing short of fantastic. Easy to talk to,
quick to get takes and changes out, and extremely talented at
ensuring line delivery is exactly as it should be. As far as I'm
concerned, you can't go wrong!
Since I was young, I've had a deep fascination for the big picture behind the world we live in and the people in it.
I originally wanted to be a photographer, because I believed I could show people the beauty they may be missing from the world or even from themselves. This interest in people led me to study psychology in my Junior and Senior year of high school, I had been receiving training from a psychiatrist I had met and I thought that was the correct direction for me.
However, I also was very active in the theatre space at this time. I enjoyed looking into the characters I played from every possible angle I could in order to understand them and perform them in the most believable way. It truly was the best space where I could combine my interest in life and my interest in people and what drives them. As time continued and I was in college for theatre, I was recommended to try voice over. I've been in the space ever since.
My name is Dakota Farnsworth, and I'm a voice over artist.
I take great pride and enjoyment working with clients who are passionate about what they are doing, and I want to help them make their projects succeed. I take work on productions for video games, animation, commercials, audiobooks, and e-learning.
My vocal range is fairly wide reaching and even I don't know entirely what I can't do. My voice allows me to play roles such as the up-beat best friend, the young protagonist, evil overlord, and crazed madman, but I'm always open to try something completely new that I've never done before.
When you call on Dakota Farnsworth, you are not only looking for an actor to work on your project, you are looking for someone that will be as excited as you are to bring the whole vision to life.
